The questions everyone asks
Who pays the helper's salary?
You do, directly — cash, UPI, whatever you both agree. We never sit in the middle of wages. Our only fee is the one-time 15% placement commission when you hire.
What does househelp actually charge?
Browsing and interviewing are free, including the translator-coordinator. When you hire, you pay 15% of the first month's salary, once. Add-ons — police verification (₹499), interstate compliance (₹799), HelpCare Plus (₹199/mo) — are optional and offered in-flow, never upfront.
Do helpers pay anything to join?
No. Charging workers for placement is how this industry got broken, and we refuse to do it. Helpers join free, keep 100% of their salary, and get salary slips and attendance records that build a work history.
What exactly gets verified?
Aadhaar KYC at onboarding for everyone. If you order police verification, a station-level antecedent check runs in the helper's home district with a written report to you in 5–7 days. Where past employers exist, we call references and mark them verified on the profile.
Why are calls masked and recorded?
Phone numbers stay hidden on both sides until you actually hire, so nobody can take the deal off-platform and lose the protections. Recordings are kept for 30 days and double as dispute evidence. If a helper asks to move off-platform, report it and we step in.
What if it doesn't work out?
With HelpCare Plus, you get a free replacement within 60 days. Without it, meetings for a re-hire are still free — you only pay the commission again if you hire someone new. A meeting that goes nowhere costs nothing either way.

Gurgaon, Delhi and Noida today. Elsewhere you'll see an honest waitlist, not an empty list dressed up as inventory — we verify helpers in person, city by city. Early-city members get their first police verification free at launch.
